中国民主建国会自成立以来，已经走过65年的光辉历程。65年来，民建积极投身中国革命、建设、改革事业，同中国共产党通力合作，为新中国的诞生，为社会主义革命和建设事业，为深化改革、促进发展、保持稳定，作出了不可磨灭的历史贡献。为使全会同志了解会的历史，继承和弘扬本会与中国共产党风雨同舟、亲密合作的优良传统，更好地迎接新的挑战和机遇，不断把会的事业推向前进，会中央在2000年版《中国民主建国会史稿》的基础上，编著了《中国民主建国会简史》，在建会65周年之际出版发行。 民建的酝酿和成立，正值抗战胜利后中华民族面临两种前途、两种命运抉择的关键时刻。为了团结自救、争取光明前途，1945年12月16日，一批爱国民族工商业家和与其有联系的知识分子，发起创建了民主建国会。成立伊始，民建以民主和建设为宗旨，提出推进民主、反对独裁，争取和平、反对内战，要求建设、反对破坏的政治主张。（It has been 65 years of glorious history since the founding of the China Democratic National Construction Association. In order to let all members of the association understand the history of association, inherit and carry forward the fine tradition of the Communist Party, and better meet the new challenges and opportunities to constantly push forward the career, based on the History of the China Democratic National Construction Association (2000 Edition), the central committee compiled the Brief History of the China Democratic National Construction Association, which will be published on the 65th anniversary of the foundation of the association. The preparation and establishment of the China Democratic National Construction Association was at the critical time when the Chinese nation faced two future and fates after the victory of the war against the Japanese invasion. In order to unite for rescue and strive for a bright future, a group of patriotic nationalists, businessmen and intellectuals established the China Democratic National Construction Association on December16, 1945. At the very beginning of its founding, the China Democratic National Construction Association took democracy and construction as the purpose and proposed the promotion of democracy and fight against dictatorship, strive for peace and fight against civil war, requesting construction and opposing sabotage. ）
