大骗子克鲁尔的自白 (Confessions of Felix Krull)

克鲁尔出生富商之家，在家庭的熏陶下，从小聪明伶俐，才华出众；随着年岁的增长和与生俱来的美貌，颇有女人缘，在上流社会也左右逢源，如鱼得水。父亲的破产和自杀，使家境一落千丈，这给了克鲁尔沉重的打击，他开始自暴自弃，玩世不恭，先后在法兰克福、巴黎和里斯本等大城市鬼混，尽情享受花花世界的生活，学会了与妓女厮混，用花言巧语骗取贵妇人的首饰和富家小姐的身心；他不仅自甘堕落，还四处坑害他人，行骗偷盗，胡作非为，样样都干，但最终还是落得了一个锒铛入狱，身败名裂的下场。(Born in a wealthy businessman family, and under the influence of the family members, Krull had been a smart and talented person since his childhood; when he grew up and with the born good appearance, he become very popular among ladies, and got along quite well in the upper class society. His father's bankruptcy and suicide, however, made the family financial situation hit the bottom, and gave Kruul a heavy blow. He began to give up on himself and became cynical, fooling around respectively in Frankfurt, Paris, Lisbon and other big cities, completely enjoying the colorful life of the world. He also learned to play around the prostitutes, while at the same time, with sweet words, he swindled jewelries from the wealthy married women, and the love and bodies of the rich young ladies; he not only abandoned himself to vice, but also cheated and entrapped others; deceiving and stealing, he did all kinds of wrong deeds, but eventually he got caught and ended up in a jail with all his reputation ruined.)
